Wolverine Worldwide appoints brand president
Todd Yates has served with Wolverine Worldwide for the past four years.
Footwear group Wolverine Worldwide has promoted Todd Yates to president of the Wolverine and Hytest brands. In this newly formed role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing all integrated sales, marketing and product strategies in alignment with the brands' growth initiatives.
Mr Yates will report directly to Ted Gedra, president of the Heritage Group, who said: “Todd has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to drive profitable, high double-digit revenue growth. He has the background and proven experience to drive strong growth for both the Wolverine and Hytest brands.”
With more than 25 years of experience in the outdoor and apparel industries, Mr Yates has held leadership positions with such brands as Columbia, The North Face and Woolrich. He joined Wolverine Worldwide in February 2009, to serve in the dual role of vice president of marketing for the Wolverine, Bates, Hytest and Harley-Davidson brands, and vice president and general manager for Wolverine Apparel.
