Arbesko footwear meets the standard
SATRA has recently issued new EC type-examination certificates to Arbesko Gruppen – a Swedish family-run business that specialises in occupational and safety footwear. The company’s established safety footwear style numbers 901 and 904 have been updated to comply with the latest European and international safety footwear standard EN ISO 20345:2011. In addition, Arbesko has introduced a new product style – number 427 – which complies with the same standard.
“The SATRA certification is not just a requirement,” said Björn Gobén of Arbesko’s research and development department. “It is also of great value to both us as a footwear manufacturer and to our customers. It is proof that all our shoes meet and exceed the numerous standards for safety and occupational footwear worn in different occupational settings, in terms of safety, comfort and quality.
“At Arbesko, we are always looking for and developing new materials and constructions to increase the functionality of our footwear, and SATRA is of great help along the way,” he added.
