Over the past two years, key personnel at Brown Shoe have worked to realign its portfolio at the infrastructure, retail and brand levels.
Ms Sullivan joined Brown Shoe in 2004 as president, and two years later assumed the additional role of chief operating officer. In 2007, she was elected to the board of directors. Prior to arriving at Brown Shoe, Ms Sullivan worked at Phillips-Van Heusen as vice chairman of footwear, before which she was a member of the board of directors at the Stride Rite Corporation, where she held the roles of corporation president and chief operating officer. In addition to her work at Brown Shoe, Ms Sullivan serves on several footwear industry boards.
