VF Corporation to expand in USA

North Carolina-based VF Corporation has announced its intention to open three innovation centres in the USA for the development of new products. According to Chief Executive, Eric Wiseman, these facilities will fuel growth and shape the future of the company’s footwear and apparel range. They will be located in three different parts of the country, and each will have a specific focus. The facility in Stratham, New Hampshire will concentrate on footwear, the Alameda, California centre will focus on technical apparel, and staff at the Greensboro, North Carolina plant will work on denim products. The new facilities are expected to be operational during the first half of 2014.
