Bata Industrials footwear meets the standard
Bata Industrials, based in the southern Netherlands village of Best, has recently extended its range of CE-marked safety footwear products for the European market, and SATRA has issued EC type-examination certificates to cover the company’s PWR S2 and S3 range of shoes and boots. Incorporating a PU-rubber outsole and steel toe cap, these products conform to European and International safety standard EN ISO 20345:2011.
A CE mark is a mandatory requirement for personal protective equipment (PPE) which is to be sold within Europe. Most items of footwear PPE must be assessed by a Notified Body such as SATRA and an EC type-examination certificate issued.
