Micro-Pak hires UK and Ireland general manager

Steve Bracewell has been appointed as general manager in the UK and Ireland for anti-microbial packaging producer Micro-Pak. The role will involve the creation of the company’s first office within the UK, and is reportedly part of a strategic commercial investment as Micro-Pak looks to expand deeper into Europe and supply major retailers and brands.

Mr Bracewell brings over 25 years of experience in footwear and apparel to his new position. He was previously European managing director at K Swiss International and global product and marketing director at Reebok International.

Initially, Mr Bracewell’s role will involve the development of new Micro-Pak infrastructure in the UK and Ireland, to complement the company’s other business operations in China, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and the USA.

According to Martin Berman, founder and global managing director at Micro-Pak, this strategic investment has been made to better serve customers in the UK and Ireland. The company’s new UK office will be based in the West Yorkshire town of Huddersfield.
