Delcam CRISPIN presents CADCAM seminar in Vietnam

More than 50 delegates attended the Delcam CRISPIN seminar in Hanoi.

Delcam CRISPIN’s Vietnamese office recently held a seminar in the city of Hanoi for members of the footwear industry. The event, which explained the UK-based company’s CADCAM software for the 3-D design and manufacture of lasts, uppers and soles, attracted more than 50 delegates. These included representatives of the region’s leading footwear manufacturers and staff from the city’s educational establishments.

Commenting on the seminar, Delcam CRISPIN Business Development Manager for Asia, Graham Vollans, said: “Footwear manufacturing in Vietnam is showing significant growth and we are keen to support the development of this business across the country.”

In order to increase sales to Vietnamese shoemakers, Delcam CRISPIN made two appointments last year to support its business in the country – Nguyen Van Van as applications engineer and Than Phung (sales engineer).
