Magnum president tours SATRA laboratories
Martin Berendesen, the Amsterdam-based president of Magnum, recently visited SATRA’s UK headquarters with the footwear company’s development manager, Gábor Fehér.
The purpose of Mr Berendesen’s visit was to explore the development of a total research and testing package for all Magnum products. SATRA’s footwear divisional manager, Lynne Brent, hosted the visit and the testing team’s Simon Courtney showed the guests the SATRA footwear laboratory. While there, Mr Berendesen and Mr Fehér were shown various tests unique to SATRA, as well as being presented with details of the new whole shoe testing service.
Tom Bayes (SATRA’s head of research), introduced the new SATRA research facilities and demonstrated current research into water resistance, breathability and comfort.
