Timberland appoints president
Stewart Whitney has been promoted to brand president.
Timberland has promoted Stewart Whitney to brand president. Having led the company’s growth in the Asia Pacific region since 2008, he is currently vice president and managing director for the Timberland and Napapijri brands in Asia.
Mr Whitney’s Timberland career began in 2000 in the global marketing team, where he focused on the company’s PRO business for the industrial and commercial markets. In the following eight years, his responsibilities expanded to include leadership roles in product, sales and general management.
Replacing Mr Whitney in Asia will be John Gearing, who has most recently served as vice president and managing director, direct to consumer and multi-channel development.
