Ringo Starr to appear in Skechers campaign
The musician has agreed to be part of Skechers’ new promotion.

Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has joined a lineup of athletes for Skechers’ relaxed-fit marketing campaign. According to Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, Mr Starr possesses the charm, cool charisma and instant global recognition the company is looking for in order to elevate awareness for the California-based supplier’s relaxed-fit footwear collection in the USA and around the world.
The musician, who has released 17 solo albums, in addition to his work with the ‘Fab Four’, worked with designer John Varvatos during the summer and will help expand the brand’s reach.
“Ringo is not only a music icon, but also a style icon,” said Mr Greenberg. “As we move from the sports world to the music world with this campaign, Ringo is the perfect ambassador…”
