ZHHuntsman to increase TPU capacity in German plant
The company is responding to a growth in demand for TPU.

Huntsman Corporation has announced plans to expand the capacity of its factory in the German city of Osnabrück to increase production of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) during 2015. Growth in demand from the global footwear industry and a number of other application areas has been cited as the reason for the US-based chemicals manufacturer to be making this investment, which is expected to see TPU production capacity rise to around 75,000 tonnes per year.
