Granger’s International hires manufacturing manager
John White’s new role includes improving the company’s efficiency.
UK-based Granger’s International Limited – a developer and manufacturer of waterproofing and cleaning products for outdoor gear, including Cherry Blossom shoe polish – has appointed John White as manufacturing manager.
Originally from Sheffield, Mr White brings considerable experience gained in automotive manufacturing. He spent 14 years in third-tier automotive manufacturing, supplying products to car motor manufacturers. Six of these years were spent in quality control, before he moved into manufacturing management. During that time, Mr White was responsible for a department of 40, producing more than one million parts each week.
Mr White’s new role at Granger’s International involves developing the company’s manufacturing capabilities by improving efficiency, introducing additional automation, reducing waste and streamlining processes to increase capacity. The appointment coincides with his new company reportedly experiencing a strong period of growth, having recently announced having reached a £10 million turnover for the first time in its 77-year history.
