Church’s brand enters India
Church’s luxury shoes will initially be available in three Indian stores.
British luxury footwear brand Church’s – which was established 142 years ago in the English shoemaking town of Northampton – is to be made available to India consumers, thanks to a distribution agreement with multi-brand retailer Heel & Buckle. As a result, Church’s shoes will be on sale at Heel & Buckle’s outlets at a price equivalent to those paid by purchasers in the UK. The high-end, multi-brand footwear retailer presently has outlets in Delhi, Gurgaon and Mumbai, and is looking to open up to 12 outlets during 2015 across the country and some 120 shop-in-shops in the next two to three years.
