Bata delegation visits SATRA China office

Members of the SATRA China Office team recently hosted a delegation of manufacturing and laboratory managers from Bata’s manufacturing units. Delegates from all over the world were attending a conference at Bata’s Chinese sourcing office in Guangzhou. They spent an afternoon at SATRA listening to presentations from the Technology Centre’s Beatrice Chen, Liam Donnelly and John Reed. The topics under discussion covered included laboratory management and accreditation, risk assessment, fitness for purpose testing and slip resistance testing. All presentations were accompanied by lively discussion, and the programme finished with a tour of SATRA’s laboratory and a demonstration of slip testing.
