Isco Celik achieves SATRA Quality Mark
The SATRA Quality Mark signifies that a product has passed a rigorous inspection and testing regime.
Turkey-based safety toe cap and steel midsole manufacturer Isco Celik has successfully passed a programme of rigorous testing and factory production control checks. This forms part of its ongoing SATRA Quality Mark assessment for the majority of the protective powder-coated steel, aluminium and composite material toe caps which the company produces. These items meet the European standard EN 12568 – a necessity in order to produce safety shoes according to the EN ISO 20344/20345 international standard.
The SATRA Quality Mark is a third-party certification scheme run by SATRA which allows the use of the distinctive ‘SATRA Quality Mark’ logo. It is an example of how companies can raise their profile by demonstrating the quality and consistency of products they supply. Exclusive to member companies, the SATRA Quality Mark signifies that the certified product is from a manufacturing environment which includes ongoing product conformity assessment through a quality assurance system and a rigorous inspection and testing regime in order to ensure consistent production at an acceptable level of quality. The SATRA Quality Mark can be awarded to components, materials and finished products. The logo can also be used at point-of-sale on items containing eligible components and materials.
