Timberland opens sixth London store
After the refit of its Regent Street flagship in London during 2015, Timberland has opened a new footwear store at 158 Oxford Street – its sixth location in the British capital. The 90 square metre space on one of London’s busiest shopping streets carries stocks of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear, and a selection of accessories. According to Timberland, this opening is a key move in connecting with a wider audience and younger consumer, and is part of what the company calls its 'quest to become the largest and most sustainable lifestyle brand on Earth'.
As well as presenting the Timberland range of products, the Oxford Street store houses a 'Cobbler Station' manned by a company expert, where customers can learn how to take care of their footwear and, if desired, customise their laces.
Timberland is a part of the VF Corporation, an international producer of outdoor-oriented footwear, apparel and accessories. The company's products are sold around the world in department and speciality stores, in addition to being available from Timberland-owned retail locations and online.
