Nike has announced its aim to encourage two million children in China to become more active as part of a China-US Cultural Exchange, thus increasing the sporting opportunities for children before, during and after school. The sportswear producer will work with China’s Ministry of Education over the next three years in an effort to transform attitudes towards sport and physical education in schools across the country. This project will include the training of up to 7,000 teachers in more than 300 schools to enable them to deliver sports lessons that are both high quality and engaging for the children.
