New shoe fair planned for 2017

The first show is scheduled for March

Frank Hartmann, former director of the GDS footwear exhibition in Düsseldorf, has announced that he is organising a new event – called the 'European Shoeshow' – to be held in the German city of Cologne. Mr Hartmann reportedly aims to sign up 150 footwear brand owners to take part in the inaugural exhibition, scheduled for March of next year. The initial proposal is for the fair to run in Cologne twice a year, during March and September.
