According to online retailer Amazon, sales of Crocs footwear grew by some 1,500 per cent in the UK after photographs of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three-year-old son Prince George wearing a pair were published. No doubt hoping for similar success in the Indian market, the US-based company reportedly intends to set up 55 more company-owned outlets and 450 multi-brand retail points in that country. Crocs currently operates some 1,000 outlets in India, including 35 company-owned stores and a number of e-commerce alliances.
