A running shoe worn by Usain Bolt during his historic 2016 Olympic Games campaign in Rio de Janeiro has sold at auction for £3,590. The shoe was mounted in a commemorative frame with a display highlighting the athlete’s achievements at the Games. The World's fastest man won three Olympic golds in the 100m, 200m and 4 x 100m competitons.
The Jamaican star completed an unprecedented 'triple treble' of three sprinting gold medals in three consecutive Olympics Games, and finished his Olympic career with a 100 per cent win record in every final in which he appeared.
