adidas boss optimistic about US market
Mr Rorsted expresses confidence that adidas' US business would grow.
The chief executive of adidas, Kasper Rorsted, has said that he is 'extremely optimistic' for the company's future growth in the USA. This comment was made at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, when questioned about US President Donald Trump's plans for an import tariff on foreign goods. Mr Rorsted stated his confidence that the new president would do nothing to prevent growth. He also expressed his opinion that digital marketing would be a key factor in adidas' growth during 2017. "We see a huge opportunity in our product line, but also through the conversion into a much more digital marketing environment," he stated.
