SATRA holds successful Vietnam seminars
Reporting on two well-attended events in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
Vietnam is rapidly growing its footwear production capacity and this is reflected in the support being offered by SATRA to companies based there. An increasing number of laboratories are being established and demand is increasing for SATRA production efficiency systems. As a result, many companies are requesting information about these systems and other SATRA services.
In order to answer some of these queries, SATRA’s Christine Powley-Williams and Vivien Hsieh presented a seminar entitled ‘Footwear technology – improving your supply chain’ in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Both events were very well attended, drawing some 90 delegates from 46 companies. The seminars were supported by SATRA’s Vietnamese authorised test equipment supplier Khoi Toan, which provided members of staff to assist with organising venues and providing translation where needed. The photograph at the top of this page shows SATRA’s Vivien Hsieh (right) and Carol Pham from Khoi Toan welcoming delegates to the seminars.
