Mizuno USA has officially opened a ‘Mizuno Experience Centre’ in the city of Atlanta. This new facility is claimed to be ‘a premium, interactive environment that immerses athletes in the history, innovation and craftsmanship’ of the company. It will showcase Mizuno products available in North America for a number of sports categories, including baseball, golf, running and volleyball.
The Experience Centre is said to engage visitors through interactive displays using RFID technology and specialised areas for baseball, golf, running and softball, that allow guests to touch, test and purchase custom fit sports gear. For example, the ‘Run Lab’ has reportedly been designed to give runners a place to be fitted for the pair of Mizuno running shoes that supports their unique stride, and where they can virtually run a number of outdoor courses. The facility will be open from 11am to 10pm, seven days a week.
