Leather course heads for Vietnam
Many problems experienced with leather products stem from not fully understanding the most significant component – the leather itself. SATRA can deliver bespoke leather training, such as the recent course tailored for Debenhams, and also two-day intensive leather courses regularly held in the UK and China. For the first time, it will also be presented in Vietnam.
As part of the programme, delegates will receive a broad knowledge of how leather is manufactured and will gain an understanding of raw materials used to make leather and the identification and origin of typical defects. The course also explores how different leathers perform when used in products – or in many cases, what can go wrong.
The SATRA intensive leather course can benefit anyone working in the leather product supply chain and has been specifically written for designers, technologists and buyers from manufacturers, sourcing companies and retailers. The course dates for 2017 are 15th to 16th August (Kettering, UK), 24th to 25th August (Dongguan, China), 4th to 5th September (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) and 1st to 2nd November (Kettering, UK).
