Meramec hires new vice president
Jeff Dieckhaus has been recruited to drive the company's sales, marketing and business development.
Missouri, USA-based Meramec has announced the appointment of a vice-president of sales, marketing and business development. Jeff Dieckhaus joins the company from the medical device industry, where he was most recently vice-president of US surgical marketing at Bausch & Lomb. He is among a number of new faces at Meramec who have been recruited to bring the skills necessary for continued growth in what the company calls an ‘ever-changing and challenging global business environment’. Mr Dieckhaus brings more than 18 years of experience in both domestic and international sales, sales management, marketing, business development and mergers/acquisitions.
Meramec is a family-owned business supplying domestic manufacturers with polyurethane (PU) insoles, midsoles and outsoles. It also manufactures and supports polyurethane systems for customers with in-house moulding operations. The company has two joint venture manufacturing operations in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, in which it produces PU insoles, midsoles, outsoles, anti-perforation textile insoles and one-piece woven uppers.
