TVS manager receives SAFT accolade

SATRA is pleased to announce that Gemma Keeley – technical manager for Bristol-based TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd (part of Team Leidos) – has gained the SATRA Accredited Footwear Technologist (SAFT) award. Her recently presented SAFT certificate is in recognition of gaining this highly regarded and internationally recognised qualification.

Gemma began her SAFT studies in 2015. She decided to take all six modules in the course in order to understand the intricacies of footwear and took the examinations over a two-year period, studying in her own time. 

“I found it an excellent, informative and well-taught course to attend,” said Gemma. “Studying for the exams meant I read around the subject to truly understand the intricacies of footwear and I now have a greater passion and understanding of footwear that in future years I wish to build on.”
