SATRA assists Racon’s international ambitions

Racon Footwear Inc is a subsidiary of Taiwan-based Hexintai Industrial Group, which has a number of production bases in the Chinese provinces of Guangdong and Sichuan, as well as in the Cambodian capital city Phnom Penh.

Established in 2002, Racon is located in Dongguan, China. The company’s facility covers a site of 8,000 square metres, at which some 300 members of staff are employed in sales, development, quality assurance and management functions. Benefiting from the group’s technical and manufacturing advantages, Racon specialises in the design, development and sample making of all types of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear. It supplies footwear to many international retailers and brand owners, and produces around 3,000 pairs of sample footwear per month.

To further improve the company’s image and be closely connected with the international supply chain, Racon became a member of SATRA in 2013. As an indication that Racon pays great attention to professionalism, technicality and prioritising its customers’ expectations, the company opened a new testing laboratory, which was accredited by SATRA in July 2017.
