Laboratories gain accreditation accolade

In addition to the six facilities mentioned in the October 2017 issue of SATRA Bulletin as having recently achieved SATRA laboratory accreditation, Pou Hung Vietnam Co Ltd has been reaccredited, and Feng An Leather Co Ltd of China and Cambodia-based Beautiful Spring Footwear Co Ltd have joined the growing list of successful applicants. This indicates that the testing facilities can present meaningful and accurate data, and can benefit from a more reliable evaluation of products as well as a general improvement in quality and fitness for purpose.

In order to achieve the distinction of SATRA accreditation, a laboratory must undergo a rigorous auditing process, based on its ability to test to specific methods and standards.
