SATRA reaccredited to ISO 9001:2015

For over 20 years, SATRA has been accredited to audit organisations against the ISO 9001 standard for quality management systems (QMS). The latest version – ISO 9001:2015 – represents a significant change from previous editions, and SATRA has successfully been reaccredited against this new standard. To upgrade, SATRA had to undergo both a head office review by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), and an onsite supervised audit. In addition, auditors were required to attend a transition course to ensure that they understood the new principles.

SATRA chief executive Austin Simmons, himself a qualified ISO 9001 auditor, stated: “I am pleased to report that SATRA has successfully transitioned to ISO 9001:2015, and is already registering its customers to this standard. We are working with each of our customers to provide them with every opportunity to update to the new standard within their current audit timetable, so that they achieve a seamless quality management system transition.”

How can we help?
