Sadesa receives gold awards for tanneries
Three of the company's operations now hold gold level environmental accolades.
Argentinian tannery group Sadesa has received recognition for its high level of commitment to the protection of the environment, with three gold certificates from the Leather Working Group. According to Sadesa, the company now has the largest number of gold certificates awarded to a tannery.
Sadesa Thailand (Sena) was reportedly the first tannery in the world to receive this level of environmental recognition, and the accolade has now been presented for the seventh consecutive time. The company’s Thailand (Kabinbury) plant has also received a gold award, and Sadesa Lomas (Buenos Aires) exceeded the scores required to achieve gold rating in all critical sections of the audit for the first time.
