Five Star Enterprise celebrates 30th anniversary
Five Star Enterprise – owned and operated by Rocky Brands Inc – celebrated its 30th anniversary in December with a two-day commemoration for employees, vendors, family and friends. Established in 1987 in the Industrialised Free Zone located in La Vega, Dominican Republic, Five Star Enterprise designs, develops and manufactures rugged outdoor, work, Western and military boots. It employs some 1,000 members of staff and exports footwear around the world.
The company has been a long-standing member of the Industrial Free Zone Organisation, and has expanded considerably over the years in line with changes in the global footwear market.
The photograph above shows some of the Five Star Enterprise team celebrating their company’s anniversary, after chief executive Jason Brooks (middle of front row) had presented trophies to three employees to mark their 30 years of service.
