SATRA releases new publication
A valuable guide to footwear problems.
As with any product, there are a number of things that can go wrong with footwear, some of which may even introduce the risk of injury to the wearer. Of course, not all complaints are justified – a purchaser may attempt to complain about a perceived fault which was actually caused by his or her lack of care or even deliberate abuse of the footwear. As this is such an important issue, SATRA is pleased to announce the release of Managing Consumer Complaints – a publication that explores a variety of faults in footwear products and provides an understanding of consumer complaints and what can be considered justified.
This A4 full colour 36-page publication draws on SATRA’s expertise in testing footwear and contains a selection of technical articles that were originally published in SATRA Bulletin magazine. With almost 100 years’ experience, SATRA has access to research and test results that cover most of the wear scenarios likely to be encountered, with virtually every shoe and boot you can imagine. Managing Consumer Complaints is available exclusively to SATRA
members at the price of GBP 30 for a single copy and GBP 25 per copy for orders of two copies or more – packing and shipping is charged extra at cost.
