SATRA seminars held in Vietnam

SATRA recently organised two full-day membership seminars in Vietnam. In order to meet the requirements from members around the country, SATRA’s Christine Powley-Williams and Vivien Hsieh gave presentations in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The topics covered included how SATRA supports product development from concept to consumers, leather assessment, the testing of leather for quality and safety and avoiding customer complaints, and getting the maximum benefit from SATRA membership.

More than 80 delegates from 40 companies attended these successful sessions, including representatives of international brands, sourcing companies, manufacturers and components suppliers. Following the events, members commented how they appreciated the sharing of technical information from SATRA and learning more about SATRA’s business areas.
