VF aims to grow Vans brand revenue
Plans are in place for Vans sales to grow to $5 billion by 2023.
US-based VF Corporation has announced plans to increase annual revenue achieved by its Vans footwear brand – which it acquired in 2004 – from the current figure of $2 billion to $5 billion by 2023. Reaching this goal would require a boost of 10-12 per cent each year for the next five years.
VF corporation’s chief executive Steve Rendle is reported to have expressed his confidence that Vans can meet this ‘bold target, and added that the brand will be a key driver of the group’s growth over the next five years.
