adidas brand reports strong quarter results
adidas branded products generated third quarter revenue of $6 billion.
Sportswear giant adidas has logged revenue of $6.57 billion (£5.1 billion) in the third quarter of 2018 – an 8 per cent increase compared to the same period of 2017. The adidas brand generated revenue of some $6 billion (£4.66 billion) – a growth of 9.8 per cent. According to a company spokesperson, this was achieved by growth in the sales of its ‘Sport Performance’ collection featuring, among other products, training and running gear.
