For many years, SATRA’s VisionStitch stitching system has proved of considerable value to shoemakers around the world, and SATRA is pleased to announce that a completely new, ‘next generation’ version will be available later this year.

SATRA VisionStitch has been designed to ensure that a manufacturer’s stitching machines are set up and used correctly. This system, when combined with SATRA’s comprehensive stitching training, will improve all stitching operations and help a shoemaker’s members of staff to become ‘world class’.

As a part of SATRA’s centenary celebrations, the 2019 edition of SATRA VisionStitch will be the most highly intuitive stitching system available. It will include a number of advanced recording methods – such as long duration recording and the splitting of recordings – all of which can be used to advise the system administrator on the best action to take in any given situation. In addition, it will provide a new interrogation mode for all automatic machines, extra information on results, and highlight ‘value-added’ and ‘non-value-added’ time. The new SATRA VisionStitch will also feature all-new hardware with improved sensor tolerance and a portable keypad with increased functionality.

The new SATRA VisionStitch stitching system will be first seen at the Indonesian Leather and Footwear Exhibition in April.
