SATRA announces new breakfast seminar

SATRA breakfast meetings are developed around topics previously suggested by members.

Following the success of the first two breakfast seminars for SATRA members – in central London and Leicester – the next in the series will take place in mid-July. These events allow delegates to meet with members of the SATRA team, view short presentations on a number of key topics and network with fellow attendees. The forthcoming seminar will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton, 92 Southampton Row, Holborn, London WC1B 4BH on Tuesday 23rd July 2019. Registration will open at 8.00am and the event will close at 12.00 noon. A continental breakfast will be served throughout the morning.

SATRA has organised these events following feedback from members about important issues affecting the footwear supply chain. The presentations in this new seminar will commence at 9.00am with a discussion on sustainability by Zach Armitage from SATRA’s innovation and development team. At 10.00 am, SATRA’s technical manager John Hubbard will present information on vegan footwear.

Topics for general discussion can then be raised before there will be a break-out opportunity for members to have one-to-one clinics with the SATRA footwear team to review individual problems or test queries.
