SATRA expert at Indian event

SATRA’s Pete Doughty spoke on the European PPE Regulation.

SATRA’s head of product certification Pete Doughty attended a seminar on safety, protective and occupational footwear held in the Indian city of New Delhi, and presented a keynote address on the subject of ‘European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and requirements for CE marking’. The programme was organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards as an inaugural event for the ISO/TC 94/SC 3 ‘Foot protection’ meetings. It drew a number of footwear industry speakers from around the world, providing seminar delegates with in-depth information on the latest trends in foot protection.
