Leadership changes at WWW
Wolverine Worldwide (WWW) has announced two major appointments. Joelle Grunberg has taken on the role of global president for Sperry, and Tom Kennedy is the new global president of the Wolverine brand.
Ms Grunberg joined WWW from Lacoste, where she was responsible for eCommerce, regional product development, retail stores, wholesale and all regional support functions in North and Central America. She has also worked for the Celio Group, Ernst & Young, Louis Pion-Royal Quartz and McKinsey & Company.
Mr Kennedy joined the company in 2015 as president of apparel and accessories. For the past three years, he has led Sperry in Boston and will return to Michigan for his new role. He will also oversee the company’s licensing group and becoming a member of its acquisitions team.
Originally founded in Michigan in 1883, the company changed its name to Wolverine Worldwide in 1964. In addition to the Sperry and Wolverine brands, WWW’s portfolio includes Bates, Chaco, Hush Puppies, HYTEST, Keds, Merrell, Saucony and Stride Rite. WWW is also the global footwear licensee for the Cat and Harley-Davidson collections.
