Texon appoints director to oversee sustainability
Boyd Mulder will drive sustainability throughout the company’s value chain.
Boyd Mulder, who recently joined the Texon management team as group director for new product development and innovation, has been made responsible for driving sustainability throughout the organisation. This appointment is said to strengthen the footwear material producer’s commitment to becoming a ‘zero waste’ organisation by 2025. In his new role, Mr Mulder will oversee the embedding of sustainability throughout the company’s value chain and its entire portfolio of material solutions. He will work across all of Texon’s locations worldwide, but will spend most of his time at the UK manufacturing facility.
Prior to joining Texon, Mr Mulder held senior executive roles for global and regional business at electronics giant Philips before running his own management consultancy in Hong Kong.
