No pause in SATRA’s digital last assessment service

SATRA now offers fours tiers of digital last assessment.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has caused no interruption to SATRA’s digital last assessment service, which is available to provide comprehensive fit and comfort technical assistance for both footwear brand owners and last manufacturers.

The article 'The value of digital last assessment' described three tiers of digital last assessment – Tier 1 (‘Last verification’ – in which the dimensions of the last are verified and accurately measured), Tier 2 (‘Last assessment’, providing an assessment of dimensions against guidelines, and commenting on problem areas and suitability of marked size) and Tier 3 (‘Fit forecasting’, which compares the last dimensions against surveyed foot size data and provides population coverage and recommendations for increased coverage).

SATRA is pleased to announce that a fourth option has now been added, thus creating a fully comprehensive service. In Tier 4 – ‘Last amendment’ – SATRA can modify a last design and supply details to match coverage of an ideal population. The pricing structure for these different services is: Tier 1: GBP100, Tiers 1 and 2 together: GBP180, Tiers 1, 2 and 3 together: GBP350, Tiers 1, 2, 3 and 4 together: GBP850.
