Examining metallic-effect materials used as uppers, linings and sockings in many footwear applications.

Whether they are well established or a new development, and whatever the colour, shade or surface texture, these materials must perform satisfactorily. Although each example of the same material type may look similar, some perform far better than others. Advance testing of new materials is, therefore, essential in order to ensure fitness for purpose.
