Slender and stiletto heels remain perennially popular, but are an engineering challenge for the component moulder and shoemaker.
While fashion trends come and go, the elegance associated with slender-heeled shoes and boots has undoubtedly been key to the unwavering popularity of these styles of footwear. However, one of the perils of such heels is that they can suffer from stem breakage and – with the raised nature of such heels – this presents the risk of a loss of balance or even a fall.
