Rock band releases anniversary shoes

Members of the Foo Fighters have worked with Vans to create the special design.

US rockers Foo Fighters have marked 25 years of making award-winning music by teaming up with footwear manufacturer Vans to produce specially-designed shoes. The ‘Vans x Foo Fighters Sk8-Hi’ is a classic black hi-top style featuring the band’s iconic logo printed in white on the side of the shoe. Their name is also used, with ‘Foo’ printed on the back of the left shoe and ‘Fighters’ appearing on the right. While at the time of writing, the date for the footwear to go on sale has not yet been announced, it is likely to be close to the release of the Foo Fighters’ 10th album ‘Medicine at Midnight’, which is due out on February 5th.
