SATRA test methods now available online

There are currently over 400 published SATRA test methods.

SATRA’s roots are in the development and creation of test methods in order to measure the performance of footwear materials and constructions. This heritage stretches back over a century and still forms a major part of the organisation’s work.  There are currently over 400 published SATRA test methods, many of which have been incorporated into international standards and procurement specifications, as well as being adopted by other organisations under their own systems.

In order to support SATRA members further, a new option has been developed to enable the online purchase of these industry-recognised test methods. Accessible through the SATRA website at www.satra.com/test_methods/, members can now browse an interactive list of test methods and place an order directly. Payment is taken online, and the order is then processed at SATRA for delivery of printed copies. All the available test methods are listed alongside relevant information – such as their scope and principle – as well as other useful details, including the common usages for the method and the type of test.
