Additional webinars scheduled

SATRA is pleased to announce three new footwear-related webinars for April and May. The first, ‘Implementing a successful sourcing strategy’ to be held on Wednesday 28th April, will investigate how the void left by cancelled and postponed trade shows has required footwear buyers and suppliers to explore new ways to find partners.

On Thursday 29th April, ‘Preparing uppers for soling: roughing’ will explain the theory behind roughing, why it is so important and how it should be done correctly to achieve good adhesion.

Then on Thursday 13th May, ‘Colour fastness of suedes and nubucks’ will consider how poor colour fastness of materials can result in a change in appearance and the staining of other objects – possibly resulting in costly claims. It will review various colour fastness issues and the testing available for screening materials.
