Two shows postponed

The Shoes and Leather Vietnam 2021 Exhibition has been postponed until July of next year due to ongoing travel restrictions and the need to ensure the safety of everyone involved. In the meantime, the organisers have launched an online sourcing platform called ‘Show on Run’ for exhibitors to showcase their products and services to international buyers.

Another major trade fair to have its 2021 event rescheduled is the Hong Kong-based APLF leather and materials exhibition, which was originally set to welcome visitors in November. According to the fair’s website, APLF has been delayed until March 2022 ‘in the interests of exhibitors, visitors and stakeholders, and to allow for greater international participation’. At the moment, many attendees would be prevented from travelling to Hong Kong or would need to self-isolate for seven days on their arrival.
