Manufacturing waders – a unique challenge

While traditional rubber waders are highly durable, they can also restrict movement and tend to be heavy. However, with the growth in the leisure market – particularly for use when angling – it is now commonplace for waders to be made of lightweight materials. Sometimes they incorporate breathable membranes, and often need to be easily transportable (for example, when going on hiking trips).
