APLF confirms return to HK
The recent show in Dubai attracted over 5,000 visitors.
The 37th edition of the APLF leather trade fair, held in March at the Dubai World Trade Centre, brought together 314 exhibitors and 15 national pavilions while attracting more than 5,000 visitors from 92 countries. This show was marked by the return of Chinese suppliers and buyers, which reportedly provided delegates with the extensive business platform traditionally offered by the pre-pandemic event.
With the world returning to normal, the show’s management team has announced that the next edition of APLF – scheduled for 19th to 21st March 2024 – will once again be held in Hong Kong. While Dubai is easily accessible from America, Europe and the Asian subcontinent which, according to the organisers ‘undoubtedly contributed to the international nature of the trade show’ and was called ‘a very productive experience’ by one exhibitor, the event’s relocation to Hong Kong was to be expected due to the historically large numbers of attendees there.
