Dainite opens new showroom
The new showroom is within the Harboro Rubber Co facility.
UK-based footwear solings specialist Dainite has announced the opening of a new showroom and offices. According to operations manager Tim Chapman, the facility provides a purpose-built space to meet with members of the footwear trade to discuss their requirements, as well as to display the Dainite sole and heel range.
The showroom is at the Harboro Rubber Co site in Market Harborough, located near the historical English shoemaking town of Northampton. Dainite soles and heels have been made in Market Harborough since 1894, originally in what had previously been a flour mill known locally as the ‘Day and Night’ Mills – from which the ‘Dainite’ brand name was derived.
Being based at the Harboro Rubber facility, visitors to the Dainite showroom will have an opportunity to tour the manufacturing plant to see how soles and heels are made. According to a company spokesperson, visitors will also be able to meet the wider manufacturing team and so better understand capabilities and opportunities for product development and partnerships.
